In the continuity of several articles regarding statistics and PGI.S, and with four weeks of competition behind us, I was curious to see which players were among the best in the most prestigious PUBG tournament.

Since survival matches lead teams to have safer and position-oriented gameplay, I have decided to limit my analysis to games played under the SUPER rule set, the most classic format.

KDA

I’m pretty pleased to start with this specific ranking because the top player is a player who has never made it to Weekly Finals yet despite 45 attempts to qualify. It highlights that being a good marksman isn’t enough to succeed as a team and that other qualities are required.

Grenades

Following the week 2 study, PurdyKurty is still first with a comfortable margin. Jeemzz is also well-established in the second place. From 3rd to 5th, some players stood up and improved their average by 25% to 50% since the end of week two.

Damages/kill

When it comes to efficiency, Mamu comes first among players with a minimum of 1 kill per game. To compare, Kickstart, the best player for week four finals has an average of 214,25 since the start of the tournament.

Damages dealt/Damages taken

Under is not only the best marksman at PGI.S, but he’s also able to consistently trades with an advantage to reduce damages taken.

New familiar faces show up in second and third positions with D1gg3r1 and TGLTN, well-known as excellent shooters.

Time survived/game

With three players at the top (I had to cut Pentalol due to the sample size), STK has shown a lot of consistency to reach late-game. They will need to work a bit harder during the last two weeks to figure out how to convert this consistency into prize money.

Kills stolen-Kills stolen from

Most opportunistic players? Here is the list:

Conclusion

Don’t get fooled! Playing with numbers is easy, and I could find a way to present every team to its advantage.

However, good use of stats can help you understand the strengths and weaknesses of a player or a team and guide your work to fix what you consider to be important issues.
